We preserve your real voice, not a synthetic one
Tools called AI voice generators create a synthetic voice from samples. Afterlife AI is different. Today we let you record and securely store your authentic voice as part of your Persona, so the actual sound of you is kept, not an imitation. Voice synthesis is on our roadmap, and when it arrives it will be governed by the same consent-first rules. For now the value is real: your true voice, captured and protected. See voice cloning for legacy and preserve my voice after death.
Why the voice matters most
In our research, 62% of grievers say the voice is the thing they miss most. A photo cannot say your name the way you said it. That is why recording your voice, while you can, is one of the most meaningful things you can preserve.
How your voice is protected
Recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are bound to your Persona and are never sold, rented or licensed to anyone. You decide who can access them and when, and Executor Lock enforces those rules after you are gone, with boundaries that cannot be rewritten. Start on the services page.
What recording your voice captures
Your voice carries things text cannot: warmth, humour, the way you say a name. Recording it as part of your Persona keeps the actual sound of you, attached to the stories and messages where it matters most.
Voice is one of eleven dimensions
Afterlife AI does not treat voice as a novelty. It is one of the eleven dimensions of a Persona, alongside your values, relationships and legacy messages, so a recording sits in context, not in isolation. See preserve my voice after death and voice cloning for legacy.
When voice synthesis arrives, it will be consent-first
Today we record and store your real voice. We do not synthesise it. Voice synthesis is on our roadmap, and when it arrives it will be bound by the same rules: your voice is never a loose clone, never sold, and governed by Executor Lock, so a Persona can only ever say what you authorised. Create your Persona
If you have read this far, you have probably already decided that the question of what happens to your digital self after you die is worth answering deliberately rather than leaving to chance. The Afterlife AI™ service exists to let you answer it on your own terms, while you are still here to set the terms. Sign up, start your Persona, designate your Trusted Contacts, activate Executor Lock™ and build at your own pace. Build Once. Live Twice.™
